Watching Whiplash gave me triggered my PTSD from my choir days in college. Seeing Trent standing up for Whiplash guy feels cathartic, like someone was there to stand up for me too.

Fletcher breaks down sobbing, apologising for his harsh treatment of everyone. It fades to black, a monologue from the protagonist on how the day Trent stood up to Fletcher changed Fletchers life, snippets show of Fletcher and students laughing and smiling in class. Outro starts, Fletcher is sat at piano, rest of class at their own instruments, he's primed at the keys, protagonist sits at the drums, is just about to start, looks over to Trent (who has the Saxophone in his hands), they both nod to each other and then then they start, cut to black, show title card for movie "Whiplash" while music playing over credits…
