Like you I love Paul McCartney and I saw him live about 7 years ago.
It was incredible to see the man and the band were fantastic plus the stage show was spectacular but his voice ? Not very great at all .
All these artists are fundamentally doing a " greatest hits" tour .
I'm getting old and I'm accepting that , maybe they should as well .

U2 should have thrown in the towel in 1989 …. all we are left with is a preachy Bono and nobody likes that hypocrite..

Paul McCartney should have give it up about 20 years ago.

The Quo are no longer the Quo but Francis can carry on ..he is a diamond geezer.

Poor Frankie Vallie really should just enjoy bingo.

Bon Jovi can't be rockers as they can't rock just sway a bit. 😮

The others have long lost the energy and zest that is required for stadium rock..😢

Being rich reduces stress. A vegan diet isn’t healthy. I knew vegan girls that always got sick and took a handful of supplements since vegan diets are missing many vital nutrients. Never been vegan and look 20 yrs younger than most of my peers.

It's really sad how band just never know to quit and move on. These geriatric tours are just embarrassing and pitiful.

Glad the all time greats (Beatles, Clash, REM, Oasis, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, etc.) Called it quits on top of their games.

Rolling Stones 89 Steel wheels tour "their last tour". Oh wait, 94 Voodoo Lounge tours "this is the last time…"

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice (or more) shame on me.

I can't believe Jethro Tull wasn't mentioned. Ian Anderson is the only original member left and he can't sing at all. He has some young dude on stage to support him and sing parts of songs. I felt ripped off the last time I saw them. The Who are also embarrassing themselves.

I would add Jethro Tull to the list. First rock concert in my college days. Blew my mind with all the talented members and Ian Anderson's voice. Now he just speaks the lyrics and has another vocal singer with him. Can still play the hell out his flute but his lungs and breath just cant do justice to the songs anymore.
Edit – Just noticed he included them in Pt. 1 – (Missed that) but glad he cited all the points I mentioned.

I'm a 50 years Yes fan and they should have stopped when Chris died. They are becoming a shriveled up shell in comparison to their past successes. I last saw them after Jon Davison's first tour. I could see then what the band was becoming.

Saw Paul McCartney in Australia this year. First time for me. The show was fantastic. The band was great. Yes, he struggled voice wise on some songs but the crowd sang most of songs anyway.

Saw Cheap Trick last week and I think they should be on this list.

I saw Roger Waters twice last year and he was fantastic! Sounds great and has a true rock and roll message to stop war. People who slander him are probably against his politics and are sick mofos.

Little River Band??? A group of Americans are touring as The Little River Band. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

And they are great as a tribute band.

But they are not The Little River Band. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Can't believe that some of The Rolling Stones are still alive never mind touring! 😂 they probably do need to retire but to me they are and always will be one of the greatest Rock Bands ever!

The reason people want U2 to retire is because we all hate Bono Vox as a person, he's become such a preachy, self-congratulatory douche bag that it is hard to listen to him at all.

I saw Frank Sinatra in concert for his last full concert with my in-laws. He was 78 with another show booked for the following night. We bought the tickets for the first show, thinking that he’d be more fresh. Lucky choice, he was unbelievable and amazing – great show. During the second show, Frank Sinatra wound up collapsing on stage that Saturday night. It was rumored that he kept the bar open, drinking into the later hours. I think some of these acts are cashing in on nostalgia with the fans gladly paying. In the end, who gets hurt? Does it matter?

The below Bob observation aside, in fairness, I saw Neil Young at the State Theater In Minneapolis a few years back and his performance was shockingly terrific…. The crowd was also well behaved and not whiney at all….basically sat rapt sitting on their hands through the whole performance…..Impressive on all fronts….

Saw Mccartney in late 2023, honestly….incredible show. Yes his voice is shot, but he still plays piano/guitar/bass really well and his band and overall show is amazing. Really enjoyed the gig and would pay very good money to see him again.
