Its shame That Marat wasted his talent in science for stupid revolutionary ideas

Given his numerous experiments and his physics science papers, he should many be inventing something usrful for humanity Like Isaac Newton

It's funny how much you've learned @oversimplified, because in this series you're very negative on Napoleon, and by the next videos, you're incredibly positive on him.

I am absolutely disgusted by the reign of terror, the great terror and the Robespierre. All that death did fix anything, but nearly ruined France’s economy until napoleon came along.

"My birthday was on the third of germinal. Our anniversary was on the 12th if Thermidor. And you promised that in Frimaire, we'd go on a romantic trip to Venice"

So she's saying, her birthday was on March 23, their anniversary was on July 30 and their trip to Venice would be on November 21-December 20?

    Ok…

The revolutionary system of 100 seconds to the minute, 100 minutes to the hour, and 10 hours to the day was originally part of the reformation of units and measurements. Eventually, however, the time units were dropped and what remained became known as the metric system.

I like everything the French did, but why did the revolutionaries give that Robespierre guy so much power to kill whomever he wanted. You'd think after the first 50 people someone would tell him to stop
