πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘ You may have noticed a weird edit when I'm talking about Tony Sheridan, I used a few seconds of his song 'My Bonnie' and it got copyright claimed. I had to edit it out but here's my transcript of what was cut!:
"Tony Sheridan Is one of two non-Beatles (the other being Billy Preston) to receive label performance credit on a record with the group, and the only non-Beatle to appear as lead singer on a Beatles recording which charted as a single. Although on that particular single β€˜My Bonnie,’ they are technically credited as β€˜The Beat Brothers. He had nothing to do with the Beatles after this 1962 recording session but just the fact that he has a performance credit with the Beatles gets him D-tier status."

Hello, I am not being late at all! I think Billy Preston deserves an S tier for sure! In the Get Back Documentary, you can really see, that he expanded the time of the Beatles' carrer (I mean that, if he wasn't there, The Beatles would have broken up earlier). But it's just my opinion!

I think pianist Roy Young is another contender for 5th Beatle as not only did he play with them in Hamburg & also on their recording of Sweet Georgia Brown (& the lost Swanee River) for Tony Sheridan, but he was also supposedly asked to join the group as The 5th Beatle by Brian Epstein but declined because he still had a contract with The Star-Club

George Martin was there at the beginning through the end. He had so much music knowledge and helped them use different sounds. An A to Apu N. Not quite S rated.

#MurryTheK was also in the late 70's movie #IWannaHoldYourHand, about a group of teenagers from New Jersey who go to EXTREME LEGNTHS to see #TheBeatles at their history making concert on #TheEdSullivanShow. And of course, Murry The K played himself. It's one of my absolute all time favorite fictionalized Beatles movies that was inspired by the band. I'm actually surprised that you didn't mention that! In fact, after this video, I'm going to go watch it again! #Cheers!

The first 4 Beatles were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Stuart Sutcliffe. In reality, the 5th Beatle was drummer Tommy Moore closely followed by Pete Best.

Billy Preston S tier no contest. I legitimately feel sadness thinking about what we might have had with creative input from Preston equal to what George and Ringo had. And I usually think about the Beatles having done what they came to do, and then got out at the right time. But honeslty, with Billy Preston, I feel like there was an almost 3rd act to their career. Nice to imagine.

But for real, George Martin is my pick for the fifth Beatle. Just every time I see footage of that man being the champion of the Beatles time after time after time, and knowing the lore of what he provided creatively and with his resources. Legend

Astrid didn't make your list but was included in Klaus? Robert Freeman – photog. Norman Hurricane Smith – also engineer early albums through Rubber Soul. Also add Ken Scott to this Ravi Shankar, Alan Williams. If Yoko is here, then ALL Beatle wives.

The FIFTH Beatles (musicians/artists) were in order: Stu Sutcliffe, Pete Best, and Billy Preston.

The Beatles were art and music. Particularly Stuart and John at the start. When John years later left he left with an artist/musician partner. If Stuart would have stayed John night not have strayed.

I'm curious, why would people be upset about Yoko Ono being on the list?? I personally would have put her wayyyy higher. In general this list was missing all the women who contributed other than her (such as Linda or Astrid), which really is a shame. I'm glad to see a lot of other comments mentioning them, they deserve to be remembered too!!
