Hotels are way better value for money. Hotels be charging less than BnB since 2021, with parking, wi fi, Netflix, Pool, Breakfast and gyms. Who the fuck is going to pay $200 a night more for a shitty apartment room with no parking, no security and $50 cleaning fee on top of that?

I work in customer service at Airbnb. The authentic experience would have him be fully refunded after contacting Airbnb due to not being able to use the dishes. This is unrealistic. Airbnb isnt a magical land where the guest is at the mercy of the host.

I rent them all the time, and have never had a problem. I have heard the horror stories, but so far, I have had good experiences. One place was not as nice as advertised, but it wasn't terrible, and it didn't ruin the weekend.

Airbnbs have gotten nuts…it’s what happens when people go into the hotel business without understanding the hotel business. Airbnbs like Uber and Lyft were designed to help split costs…the original AirBnB concept was literally a couple guys renting air beds in their living rooms. Then it went to renting out rooms, then whole spaces. Now unless you have a huge family or a bunch of friends it doesn’t make sense to rent one do to the crazy hidden fees and rules

When the founders of a company can't even control their own product is it any wonder why Air BnB is doing a kamikaze right into the toilet? Even the founders said their model is broken. Exorbitant fees, ruthless greed, and asshole property owners is exactly what every brand dreams of having. lol

I dislike the tone of these air bnb rulebooks even if the rules are sensible. Then again, they probably get some pretty disgusting, rude tenants if we are being honest and looking at the general public lol

Yeah it's definitely not cheaper than a hotel and you have to take care of everything so if you're traveling solo or as a couple a hotel would be better suited.
AirBnB works if it's like 7 people wanting to spend some time as a group and even then it's not such a great experience
