Dude, I love you brother, you make the most hilarious videos on Youtube, but you gotta go a little easy on my boys from York. As a denizen of Brantford, Ontario (a.k.a. the home of Wayne Gretzky, a.k.a. Shit Towne North), this band has been a spiritual salvation for me when I needed to hear a voice that knew what it was like to grow up in a place that had no culture, no upward mobility, no hope, and 12 Tim Horton's for every one hospital, where the unkept trails by the river were the only refuge from the bleak and bleary shittiness of it all. I mean, man, Brantford in the 1990s was a place where the only good thing around you was the bits they hadn't managed to civilize yet. Where the savagery of nature beckoned just beyond the farmer's field, and said, "hey, it uh, looks like you guys might have fucked this whole thing up. But I got green leaves and pretty smells and questionable fish and if you ever feel like you want to tear it all down and go back to hunting <Kowalczyk>deeeeeeaaaaaaaoooooaaaarrrr</Kowalczyk>, you know where to find me." As soon as that first riff from Lakini's Juice started up, I knew those guys grew up in a piece of shit city just like mine. I could hear it in those twin essential qualities of the deep affinity for nature and the complete inability to trust in human goodness or competency. So, they're my people, in some sense. I mean to be fair I haven't once listened to any album after Secret Samadhi, so I'm hardly their biggest fan, but dude, you can't call them scumbags and then say positive things about Van Halen with a straight damn face. It just don't work like that, and you know it don't. 🙂

Wow great news,, It's been a long time coming ..
So? No more whining and Sniveling about the Offspring or RHCP?
While you write and perform a Blink 182 knock off, Oops a ripoff song?
Of course a stroaker from Pinncil'dickia oops Pennsylvania.
Wouldn't have the ability to understand So. Cal. Rock.
Nothing more lame than some YouTube Lopp, Talking S#!t about bands pumping out Bull$#!t songs/music, While he himself is putting out Bull$#!t music and content.,
Here is a little something for you from another band you probably hate "Green Day" Good Riddance.
How's that foe some epic trolling??
Love your show, And by the way? You're way too nice to, ..
Robby the richie bitchie AKA. Kid Rock'o Crock'o $#!t,

You can be honest, Pat. I saw it, we all saw it… the Dave Holmes podcast broke you. And I was feeling for you. You were trying to get out witty lines, and Dave just continued to step on them, absolutely zero comedic timing or social awareness with that guy. And having to explain the jokes, and names of band members (Phil Rudd, not Angus or Malcolm, but still, AC/DC) was brutal. I just hope you can do some more videos, and that your health is good.

The chorus for "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" by The Hollies came to my mind right away which would make me look at the Beatles as well for the boomarang riff, ya know boom a rang with me, Sookie Sookie Sookie Sookie SUE!

Isn't Buckcherry just the perpetually horny, lecherous "Tommy Lee/Glenn Quagmire hybrid with more STDs" singer guy – and everybody else has been replaced two or three times over the years, à la Whitesnake? Maybe it's time to "Monster Truck" them and refer to them as one single person?

The "patron saint" of replacement lead singes should obviously be Brian Johnson of AC/DC.
Another big one would be Henry Rollins of Black Flag.
But even better, Greg Puciato of the Dillinger Escape Plan.

    We're leaving together
    But still, it's farewell
And maybe we'll come back to Earth
    Who can tell?
With so many lightyears to go
    And things to be found
Will things ever be the same again?
    It's the final countdown!

    There. I remember it.

Los Angeles native here who grew up going to parties in the Hollywood Hills and long-term dated a woman who was an executive in reality TV: The dream for actresses never dies. It fades with drug use, pregnancy; or it gets shifted into feeling okay with joining the adult film industry. The last one is pretty tough for some but if they're even marginally attractive, they have a future in pornography. It's just the cognitive dissonance that they have to reconcile when they shift into the adult film industry.
