The Oscars are coming up March 10th so a good time to remind one’s self of the dark behind the glitz. It is pretty brutal – the dark side of Hollywood. Pretty brutal.

Cruise’s excitement about being head over heals in love & jumping on Oprah’s couch didn’t bother me, who hasn’t been excited about new love?
It was the appearing to being totally led by an organized religious thing that raises my brow … jmo

Like Dave CHappele says "If I women walked out of the hotel room in similar situation with Leonardo DiCaprio and not Weinstein, they would be smiling and say "I got the part"". AS terrible as this is, no regular women's cry for help that was much louder was and is still not heard in many places. Its funny to see the world feel sorry for fame chasing sk@nks more than real atrocities that happen to women in War zones and much poorer countries. The disillusionment among many is not this is an everyday woman's issue but this this is a specific set of women's issue. Its a bit like how Meryl Streep who epitomizes "convenient feminism" but stays quiet when its convenient to do so.

Hollywood, a mindless soul less entity that's beyond ugly from the inside out. Mere alpha actors becoming entitled voices for the delusional masses of fanboys.

My eyes – as much as I try to say I love all races – not all races do my eyes like to watch / see! Not all races are equal in my head / eyes. I still love the uniqueness of people and love all talents of all sorts, but watching them on tv 24/7, no.

Why the women didn't handle the problem at the time, says a lot about their values. Sad, that being so desperate for a "job" or a certain about of hush money, is all it takes. That blurry line between right and wrong, is what allows the perverts to continue with their control and power. Takes 2 to create every situation.

Just wow, even after the trial, they still just focused on JD being the bad party and not Amber Heard, to create this narrative that all men are predators?! Like sure, most men are predators, but you also need to highlight how when you are famous, you can be targeted, either by ppl like Amber Heard, or organisation like Scientology 😒 suddenly making me doubt this channel a little bit 😒

Funny how the casting couch was fine when those women were getting the roles but as soon as they were in less demand then they started howling against it. It takes 2 to tango on that small couch. Fill in the usual trope about women and accountability… Funny that.

This was not Frances McDormand's first Oscar 14:07 she first received the award in 1997 for "Fargo".

"The Jazz Singer" isn't the first movie to include sound 54:08, sound shorts had been around since the mid-Twenties. It is, however, considered the first
    successful film to use sound.

Everybody focuses on Harvey Weinstein, but it isn't new, it is so not new that it's been documented in actual movies, "the casting couch", they called it: it's been going on since movies began.
